Spotlight

Cartervile Chamber Spotlight Business of the Week for February 11, 2019 is Borowiak's IGA of Carterville

Our next Carterville Chamber Spotlight Business of the Week is Borowiak's IGA.

In 1972, Ed Borowiak opened Borowiak’s IGA.  In 1966, his son, Trevor took over with two stores.  Now, he has six stores. The Borowiak IGA in Carterville opened in 2001.

Cooking and grinding fresh meat several times daily, their fried chicken and ground beef are the best, bar none.  The hometown atmosphere, where a handshake still means something, is to be valued.  While society is losing these good traditions, Borowiak’s IGA wants them to be common place at their store.

Every June and October, Borowiak IGA promotes their meat and pricing with a truck load meat sale.  Mark you calendars so you don’t miss these special opportunities to save on quality meat!

Borowiak’s believes our future starts in our youth.  As such, they sponsor the meet the Lions Night at the Carterville High School in August.  They are active supporters of Chamber events and they cater Chamber luncheons several times each year.
