Our Chamber Spotlight Member of the Week for Monday, February 15th is visitSI!

visitSI is the official tourism bureau of Williamson County. We are a not-for-profit organization that is governed by a board of directors and operated by a dedicated staff. Our mission is to promote the beautiful area we love and to create and sustain a strong tourism industry. Tourism is essential to creating a thriving local economy that helps the area to continue to grow and flourish. The area’s hotels, attractions, and small businesses rely heavily on revenue generated by tourists. We take great pride in the importance of what we do!
Each year we host our annual Southern Illinois Boat and Fishing show. All proceeds from this regional event go to different charities within our Williamson County communities. For many years, we have supplied local businesses and Tourist Information Centers with our

visitSI guides and other promotional materials. We have sponsored events like Herrinfesta Italiana, JALC Hunting and Fishing Days, and a number of large concerts! We are very active on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We use our platforms to promote local small businesses and events throughout Williamson County. is filled with resources and information about attractions, events, shopping, dining, and more! We are always looking for ways to better serve our communities and love to hear feedback so we can serve effectively and efficiently!
