The Chamber Business Spotlight of the Week is Gum Drops, NFP

Gum Drops, NFP provides a weekend backpack of child friendly food to help enhance the quality of life in at-risk children. This program helps remove barriers to academic success. Gum Drops, NFP strives to help build strong children, solid families and sound communities that in return these at-risk children will succeed in the same manner in the future.

How can you help ? ? We have two volunteer shifts that begin at 6:30 pm on both Tuesday and Wednesdays evenings to pack the bags. We would love to have you come volunteer. We could always use donations both monetary and child-friendly food donations. Obtaining child-friendly food has been a huge challenge this year. We always need ramen noodles, fruit cups, cheese n crackers, applesauce, pop tarts, etc something they can do themselves.
