The Chamber member Spotlight of the week is Carterville First United Methodist Church!

All are welcome at the Carterville First United Methodist Church where we have weekly services and Sunday School as well as monthly movie night and other special events. The Diaper Ministry, which serves the local community, is housed at the church and the church serves as a meeting place for several organizations, including the American Legion and Boy Scouts. As part of community outreach, the church coordinates with the school system to provide school supplies, clothing and other items for children in need.

The Carterville First United Methodist Church is a place where you can worship and renew your faith, enjoy Christian and community fellowship and find opportunities to serve.

Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service -
April 14th at 7:30 p.m.

Good Friday Service -
April 15th at 12 Noon

Movie Night (The Pasion of the Christ) -
Saturday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
Free popcorn, snacks and soda
All are welcome!

After School Luau for children of the community
May 22nd, 2-4 PM (watch for more details soon!)
