Legal Advocacy Headquarters (LAHQ) helps entrepreneurs proactively protect their small businesses and nonprofits. Their practice focuses primarily on providing small businesses and nonprofits with legal advice and counsel. This narrow focus allows them to be subject matter experts and partners in their client’s success. 

LAHQ provides its clients with quality legal documents and services including assistance with properly setting up their LLC, corporation, or nonprofit, registered agent services, review and draft contracts, human resources/employment policies, agreements, and manuals, and trademark selection, search, and registration. 

They offer monthly legal services memberships and flat-fee (or fixed) prices. For most services, clients will know the cost of the service before they start. 

Before becoming a lawyer, owner Martin Parsons spent twenty-six years, part-time and full-time, in the U.S. Marine Corps and Illinois Army National Guard. After law school, he practiced business and employment law in Carbondale before joining the faculty of SIU School of Law to reestablish its Veterans' Legal Assistance Program. In 2022, he transitioned to teaching part-time and opened Legal Advocacy Headquarters.

Martin is the author of the book, “The Top 10 Legal Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make in Their Small Businesses.” He is a guest speaker for small business and nonprofit organizations throughout Illinois and a featured podcast guest.
