Photography became my passion when my daughter was born (15 years ago) until I decided to turn my passion into a skill, and my skill into a career. I decided to move from a point and shoot camera to a DSLR and and take my education in photography further taking classes in the area and out of state. I am proud active member of Professional Photographers of America, local photography club and a few out of state professional photographers’ organizations.

It has been about 2 years since my family and I moved to Southern Illinois. We used to live in New York, Indiana and Florida, and decided to return to the Midwest. We fell in love with Southern Illinois and decided to move here. My daughter loves her school and she is part of a few local youth clubs, my husband loves his job, we really enjoy living in Carterville and I love meeting new people, families everyday!

We have a furry baby, she is Lily and she was born in West Frankfurt.

I opened my photography business in 2016 and have been doing outdoor sessions and using my mini studio in my house in Carterville, until it was time to look for a rental space in the area for my studio and finally in 2018 I found this cute place in Herrin. I really love my new neighbors from Herin, Bob from Newman Restaurant, Erin from Cherry’s Barber Shop, Melissa from the Rabbit Patch Cottage, Cheryl from Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio and Tracy from Herrin signs. These guys made my transition of the new kid on the block very smoothly!

When I am not photographing in my studio, somewhere outdoors or at any local events, you will find me volunteering somewhere in the area with my amazing friends from the Rotary Club of Carterville, I am honored to be the new Director of International Services of this amazing club and I am very excited to work on many new projects that involves helping others and giving back to the community, or you will also find me volunteering with the lovely members from the Garden Club of Carterville.

I released an awesome deal for family fall sessions last week, but weekends spots are fully booked, although I still have some weekdays late afternoon available for this specific session.

Halloween mini sessions, Fall mini sessions, and Christmas mini sessions (all in studio) are coming up, please check my social media pages for more details and announcements, feel free to contact me anytime!
